Local Pick Up/Delivery Driver

We are seeking an experienced and skilled driver to join our team in Mackay for local pick up and delivery runs.

Lindsay Transport is a leading fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Safely operating vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe work culture.
• Temperature sensitive freight handling, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
• Providing exceptional customer service in a professional manner.
• Working closely with depot teams for loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
• Completing pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid HR, HC or MC license.
• Previous commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
• Current BFM, preferred but not essential.
• A safe driving record, requiring a copy of your driving history.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
