We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Engagement Coordinator. This role will provide high-level support to the RACS Tasmanian Chair and Committee, ensuring actions and committees are appropriately supported.
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and provide secretariat support to the Tasmanian State Committee. Additionally, you will assist with College events and activities and attend to various other state office administrative matters.
This is a part-time (0.4 FTE) opportunity with a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility in your work arrangements.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience working with government/membership-based organisations/not-for-profit entities
- Ability to draft agendas and take minutes
- High level of verbal communication skills, with excellent written and editing abilities
- Experience in advocacy within a membership organisation, advocating for key health and surgery concerns and opportunities
- Flexibility in work arrangements, including working from home and time spent in the office
