Product Development Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Coordinator to work closely with our production teams in Asia and customers in America.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all styles are perfected before bulk production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and design principles.
  • Making recommendations to refine samples ready for bulk production.
  • Interpreting detailed comments to factories and vendors.
  • Developing spec sheets and technical documents.
  • Liaising via video call with offices in Asia to ensure seamless communication.
  • Thorough knowledge of fabrics, materials, and trims to ensure suitability to style.
  • Suggesting changes to improve designs and quality.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and 3+ years' experience in a Garment Technician/Production Management role.
  • Thorough knowledge of woven and non-woven cut/sew techniques.
  • Strong technical understanding of garment assembly techniques and quality control.
  • Experience with yardage and placement printing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mid-level Excel skills.

Additional requirements include fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese or Vietnamese (aural and written) and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A passion for fashion and apparel is essential, as well as a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
