Asia Market Area Business Development Director

The Global Partner Solutions team is accountable for the commercial partner business at a leading technology company. Our mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services, and devices with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more.
This role covers the Asia market area. The ideal candidate should be located and authorized to work in the region. If successful, they would be offered the role in their current location.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for overall strategy and execution of Scale Solution Partner performance and sales results for the operating unit.
- Deliver sales unit forecast integrity throughout the fiscal year; evaluate quantitative and qualitative metrics and translate those metrics/results into strategic priorities and plans.
- Assess customer total addressable market opportunity, competitive dynamics, and market insights to design targeted proposals.
- Engage CxO leaders and partner country managers across the partner ecosystem to drive alignment on strategy, joint commitments, and priorities.
- Execute the Top 50 SSP CSP plan in the operating unit with consistency.
- Build a consistent strategy and execution plan for local partners, leveraging key metrics and sharing best practices with peers.
- Demonstrated experience in Scale Solution Partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry.
- Experience supporting overall strategy and execution of partner performance and sales results for the sales unit.
- Leverage market insights to assess customer TAM opportunity and competitive dynamics.
- Demonstrate strength engaging senior leaders in the partners' organization to influence business outcomes.
