The primary role of the Quality Assurance Specialist involves delivering high-quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medico-legal reports in line with quality frameworks and relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and experts through open and interactive communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure prioritization of workflow.
  • Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writing.
  • Resolve emerging problems and handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AMA Guides and WorkCover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
