About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated Grid Connections Manager to oversee the timely and cost-effective connections of our solar projects across Australia.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and submitting grid applications, including all relevant information required by DNSPs & TNSPs.
  • This role requires strong negotiation skills to work with NSPs & AEMO throughout the review process of Grid connection application.
  • You will also manage the review process for grid connection offers to ensure they meet our requirements.
  • In addition, you will create and maintain framework agreements with ICPs and equipment suppliers to ensure delivery capacity at appropriate commercial terms.
Key Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Grid in all states at both DNSP & TNSP levels.
  • Mentor Engineers /Senior Engineers to develop and grow their skills in Grid connection space.
  • Full conversant with end-to-end DNSP & TNSP process for generator connections.
  • Experienced at negotiating legal and commercial aspects of connection contracts.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record & experienced in a similar role for minimum of 5 years.
  • Educational background: degree in Electrical and/or Power Engineering or relative qualifications and supporting working experience.
