Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

This role involves providing holistic support to individuals who have been injured at work, with the goal of restoring their highest level of functional performance.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage return-to-work cases for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme
  • Conduct assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluation, Workplace Assessment and Vocational Assessment
  • Provide vocational counseling and facilitate interventions, wellbeing programs, training and upskilling
  • Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals

Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration as a Provisional Psychologist or ASORC registration as a Rehabilitation Counsellor supported by relevant qualification
  • Current driver's license and access to own transport
  • Ability to obtain Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Full Australian working rights
