Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:
As a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, tend to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, verify employee expense claims, perform supplier statement reconciliations, and support the month end processes.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Accurate and timely processing of invoices is essential for our organization's financial stability. You will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices are properly recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Enquiry Handling: Tending to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders is a critical aspect of this role. You will need to be able to handle multiple enquiries simultaneously and provide prompt and accurate responses.
- Expense Claims Verification: Verifying employee expense claims is an important part of this role. You will need to review and verify expense claims to ensure that they are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Supplier Statement Reconciliation: Performing supplier statement reconciliations is another key responsibility of this role. You will need to reconcile supplier statements to ensure that all payments are accurate and up-to-date.
- Month End Processes: Supporting the month end processes is a critical aspect of this role. You will need to assist with tasks such as closing off accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Accounts Payable Experience: Solid experience and understanding of accounts payable processing is essential for this role. You will need to have a strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
- Autonomy: The ability to work autonomously is critical for this role. You will need to be able to take initiative and make decisions without supervision.
- Technology One Experience: Experience with Technology One is highly desirable. You will need to have a strong understanding of how to use this system and be able to apply it in a practical setting.
- Certifications: A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one is required for this role.
