Work with a leading organisation in the accountancy industry and take on a challenging temporary full time accounts payable position.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for the review of supplier statements, full account investigation, high volume account reconciliation, resolving accounts payable issues, assisting with data entry of invoices and providing excellent reconciliation and investigative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review of Supplier Statements: Ensure accuracy and completeness of supplier statements.
  2. Full Account Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into any discrepancies or irregularities.
  3. High Volume Account Reconciliation: Reconcile large volumes of accounts accurately and efficiently.
  4. Resolve Accounts Payable Issues: Effectively resolve any issues related to accounts payable.
  5. Assist with Data Entry of Invoices: Assist with the accurate and timely entry of invoices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Skills: Excellent reconciliation and investigative skills, strong Excel skills, ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively (written and verbal).

Benefits:

This is a temporary opportunity with an approximate duration of 8 weeks, with potential for extension. You will have the opportunity to work in a large team environment, located at North Rock with parking on site, with a welcoming culture and a competitive hourly rate circa $38.00 - $40.00 per hour plus super.
