Temporary Accounts Payable Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a temporary part-time basis.
The Responsibilities:
- Perform full function accounts payable tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Liaise with practice managers to obtain timely approval on locum invoices, maintaining effective communication channels.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable and payroll teams to coordinate and ensure timely payment of locum invoices, including superannuation payments in monthly runs.
- Calculate and process superannuation payments, adhering to relevant awards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with award requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws.
- Handle other ad-hoc payroll duties, contributing to process improvement and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounts payable, preferably with an ADP or AP workbook background.
- Attention to detail, commitment, and a desire to contribute to process improvement, ensuring accuracy and quality in work.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with colleagues.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential, as well as proficiency in using relevant software systems.
