About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager - Environment, Health and Safety to lead our EHS team in New South Wales. As a key member of our Group People & Corporate Affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of EHS performance across our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS strategies and plans to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead a team of EHS professionals to engage and partner with stakeholders and drive the EHS culture at Asahi
  • Provide leadership and drive action on all aspects of safety and environmental management
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met within the State or Region
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive EHS excellence and innovation
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in an EHS people leadership role, ideally within the FMCG, manufacturing, or related environment
  • Proven track record of driving EHS performance and culture change
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and partner with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of ISO &/or Safety Management systems and their application in an FMCG environment
  • Working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and Australian Standards
