We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Project Delivery. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering turnkey infrastructure construction projects in the electric vehicle space.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of high-value and complex energy infrastructure projects, working closely with our Director of Delivery and Country Director AU/NZ.
- Manage the implementation of governance, plans, and structure for portfolios, programmes, and projects to deliver business objectives and respond to changing priorities.
- Oversee the performance and outputs of delivery and capability teams, using clearly defined targets and a focus on safety, financial performance, business objectives, and customer outcomes.
- Provide departmental leadership and regional escalation across portfolios, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement project management principles and business processes, providing end-to-end project assurance and ensuring compliance with necessary consents, permits, and licenses.
- Identify opportunities to improve best practices within the organisation and recruit and mentor a strong team of project professionals.
- 10+ years' engineering experience in the delivery of high-value and complex energy infrastructure projects, ideally in the electric vehicle space.
- Tertiary level electrical or construction qualifications.
- Relevant Project Management certification, such as PMP, CPPM, or Prince2 Practitioner.
- Strong Project Management, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of initiative and flexibility in dealing with issues.
- Previous experience leading teams in a leadership position and strong commercial and contract experience across client and contractor organisations.
- Strong demonstrable experience administering construction contracts and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Senior stakeholder and board-level reporting experience and a desire to work in the renewable energy and green energy sector.
- Experience working with electric vehicle charge points and delivering high and low-voltage networks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent planning and organisational skills, and a pragmatic, proactive, and solution-driven approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and general WHS Induction White Card.
- Full Driving License.
