**Job Summary:**

This role involves regular in-person engagement with councils to build productive and collaborative relationships.

The Regional Liaison Officer will be responsible for scoping, delivering, monitoring, and acquitting council projects under multiple programs.

Key responsibilities include providing tailored stakeholder support, representing QRA interests, and identifying and mitigating risks.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and lead effectively, and a strong understanding of community profiles, infrastructure, risks, and opportunities.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Build and develop productive and collaborative relationships with assigned councils
  • Provide tailored stakeholder support to ensure timely acquittal of reconstruction and restoration programs
  • Represent QRA interests in delivery agent relationships and issues management
  • Identify and mitigate risks to QRA, the CEO, and executive teams
  • Monitor progress of submission development and provide guidance or assistance as necessary
  • Undertake regular on-the-ground site inspections and program reviews
  • Facilitate constructive and collaborative resolutions between QRA and delivery agencies where disagreement has arisen
  • Provide technical and project management advice to delivery agents
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of WH&S related policies
  • Gain a local and regional understanding of community profiles, infrastructure, risks, and opportunities

**Working Relationships:**

The successful candidate will work closely with the QRA executive, councils, and other stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
