Job Description

The Australian Football League (AFL) is responsible for promoting and growing the sport of Australian football. As a Participation Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing and expanding the game from grassroots to elite levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive participation growth in targeted regions through the delivery of AFL programs in schools and clubs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of Auskick and Superkick centres across the region, building relationships with schools and promoting activities to meet participant targets.
  • Ensure a seamless transition and retention strategy from AFL Auskick, Superkick, and school programs to junior club football.
  • Deliver high-quality school football competitions and programs, collaborating with teachers, schools, and other stakeholders to create engaging experiences.
  • Organize AFL player visits and fan engagement opportunities, working closely with Junior Community Clubs to foster inclusive environments and pathways.

As a Participation Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences across all football and fan engagement programs, driving participation in key regions.
