Operational Improvement Specialist

This position is accountable for enhancing the maturity of the Operating System (OS) and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across departments by effectively influencing and collaborating.
Key Responsibilities:- Enable a high performing culture at all levels within the operation, focusing coaching activities from Frontline to Superintendent level.
- Assist leaders with identifying, prioritising, problem solving and implementing frontline improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
- Assist management in monitoring and building OS capability across the site, identifying training needs and conducting presentations, workshops and training to engage the audience.
- Prior experience as a Leader or Professional.
- Exposure to rail, mining, maintenance or processing is ideal but experience in other industries utilising operational excellence principles would be highly regarded.
- Understanding/exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and organisational change.
- Strong skills in driving improvement, empowering others, coaching and communication.
