Make lithium your future.The OpportunityThe Safety Improvement and Investigation Advisor is accountable for ensuring the safety and health of employees through the delivery of professional safety services, promotion, and management of the Mine Safety Management System and the delivery in a timely and professional manner in regard to health and safety related matters.This is a Permanent Full-Time position, on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth, WAKey Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToMaintain the Health and Safety Management SystemsAssist frontline leaders in developing Health and Safety knowledge.Coaching all workforce on safety managementMaintain INX databaseAssist Incident reporting through SRSInterface with internal and external parties, such as Contractor Representatives, Shutdowns, Projects Team, DEMIRS.Coaching Operational leads on Quality Interactions, including Planned Task Observations and Safety ConversationsConduct Health and Safety auditsFacilitate risk assessmentsLead Health and Safety Initiatives and improve safety management processes, such as Investigation QualityCoach personnel on safety tools such as task observations, Take 5, JSAs, inspections, and verifications.Participate in Prestart and Information (PSI) meetings, Health and Safety Representative committee (HSR's) meetings and Toolbox meetings.Facilitate incident investigations.Any other duties as directed by site Senior Health and Safety Advisor or Health and Safety Ops Manager.About YouTertiary qualifications in WHS or related discipline.Minimum 2 years' experience in resource safety roleKnowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to the processes.Advanced PC skills and computer literacy i.e. Microsoft applications mainly excel/wordExperience in Incident Investigation (ICAM certification - Essential Factors preferred)Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.Strong commitment to safety and the environment.What We OfferGreat people and culture are at the heart of our great Australian Company.
