About This Role

You will play a key role in delivering strategic people initiatives and leading HR across various businesses.

  • Ensure seamless employee lifecycle management, maintaining accurate records and compliance with relevant documentation and processes.
  • Manage complex ER/IR matters, including grievances, investigations, performance management, redundancies, and enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee the coordination of promotions, allowances, bonuses, and HR documentation; regularly engage with site teams to maintain a strong HR presence and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Deliver performance review training, support leadership development, and ensure inclusive recruitment and development processes.
  • Lead monthly reporting, contribute to senior leadership meetings, and support strategic initiatives and tender submissions aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that foster employee engagement, connection, and teamwork.
About You
  • Proven HR experience within a similar industry, preferably in recycling, transport, logistics, manufacturing, or trades.
  • Able to influence and advise leaders on people-related decisions.
  • Strong understanding and interpretation of EBA's & Awards within heavy industries.
  • Approachable and down-to-earth nature, with a willingness to collaborate and get involved in operational activities.
  • Track record of building initiatives that bring people together, especially across functions and multiple sites.
  • Natural collaborator who brings energy, empathy, and clarity to every interaction.
