About Us
We are a leading aged care organisation seeking an exceptional HR professional to join our team.
This is a full-time role based in our Territorial Headquarters in Redfern Sydney. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic and operational HR services to executive leaders, line managers and employees.
The Role of Human Resources Business Partner provides a range of services, including:
- Providing strategic support to business leaders in making good people decisions across the employee life cycle;
- Building strong teams, serving as a coach and mentor, influencing employee relations and driving a positive culture;
- Coaching leaders to effectively and consistently manage and take full accountability for people decisions;
- Providing advice to managers in the resolution of team issues including performance management, grievances, investigations, role changes and remuneration reviews;
About You
You are tertiary qualified in Human Resources or a related field and can demonstrate at least 3-5 years Human Resources Generalist experience. Additionally, you will:
- Have an understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army; removed
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, able to build credible, trusting and respectful relationships at all levels, and work collaboratively to deliver solutions;
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills;
- Able to effectively and creatively challenge people, situations and current thinking;
- Experience in planning and implementation of organisational change and leading strategic people change initiatives;
- Able to work independently and deliver to agreed deadlines with a results-driven approach;
- Ability to think on your feet, solve problems and implement solutions;
- Ability to work under pressure and conflicting priorities;
- Strong commercial orientation;
- Multi-site experience and WorkDay HRMS experience is an advantage;
