Strategic Planning Lead

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Lead to join our team.

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies and strategic plans across the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Support the development of corporate, business, and functional strategies.
  • Maintain accountability for strategic plans to ensure effective execution and alignment with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop annual business plans to achieve long-term objectives.
  2. Analyse external market dynamics, including addressable markets, growth engines, customer preferences, competitive landscapes, strategic options, and emerging opportunities.
  3. Identify opportunities to leverage existing operating models, focusing on capabilities and potential, functional value chains, enablers, and strategic differentiators.

This role reports to the Chief People Officer and collaborates closely with the Senior Executive Team to develop and implement long-term strategies and strategic plans.

The successful applicant will have a strong customer service background, be driven, flexible, and passionate. They will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years proven experience in strategic planning, backed by strong analytical skills.
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar.
  • Experience working within a large, complex family-owned business.
  • Excellent reporting and presenting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage at the Executive level.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and analyse complex business issues.
