About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Casual Sessional to join our team in the College of Vocational Education at RMIT University. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support during peak times in the academic calendar, working collaboratively with our senior technical staff and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to teachers and students in a machine workshop environment.
  • Assist with the maintenance and preparation of machinery and materials.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and students.
  • Undertake other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong practical skills and experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and analytical skills.
  • Specific knowledge or experience in machine workshop environments is advantageous.
  • Steel capped boots are required for the role.
