Looking to enhance the operational capability of a fleet? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fabrication Specialist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking design, fabrication and fitment of ancillary components and equipment for operational police vehicles. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with their hands and are proficient in metal fabrication.

  • Prepare technical drawings and schematics to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Design and fabricate components for operational police vehicles using MIG and TIG welding machines.
  • Refurbish parts and accessories for installation in new vehicles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possession of a current driver's license Class C or equivalent.
  • Trade certificate qualifications as a Tradesperson (Fabricator) or equivalent experience in fitting, welding, fabrication and/or automotive trades environment.
Benefits

This role offers a 9-day fortnight working pattern and uniforms provided. The successful applicant will be located at Alderley.
