Sheet Metal Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Craftsman to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, working full-time on the afternoon shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products to meet our high standards of quality and precision.

  • Fabrication of sheet metal products using various machinery and hand tools.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
  • TIG/MIG welding with light gauge experience being advantageous.
  • Poliing stainless steel and working with aluminium.
  • Cutting, bending and shaping metal materials using power tools and machinery.
  • Operating CNC machines and press brakes.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintaining quality control standards and adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in metal fabrication, with a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication.
  • Previous experience in the fabrication of rainwater goods is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
