As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure in line with IRAP standards, applying necessary security controls and risk management processes.
  • Lead incident response for Azure-based environments, escalating as needed and ensuring compliance with local data access restrictions.
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure changes using GitOps, ensuring timely updates and stable site performance.
  • Monitor system metrics and proactively manage scaling of AKS and AzureSQL to maintain optimal performance.
  • Provide direct operational support to personnel, troubleshoot infrastructure and integration issues, and ensure smooth system configuration.
  • C coordinate with international teams to ensure external systems remain functional during platform updates and to respond to evolving compliance requirements.

You will take ownership of day-to-day system operations, troubleshoot and respond to incidents, manage database performance and scaling, and implement updates through a GitOps-based framework. This is a position requiring Australian residency due to data access restrictions under IRAP.

This role ensures compliance with IRAP standards and maintains the reliability, security, and performance of environments. You will work closely with both local and international teams to enable secure integrations, improve operational efficiencies, and strengthen service delivery.

This is a critical role in enabling organizations to meet their contractual and legal obligations in delivering cloud services.
