Reliability Excellence Specialist

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Excellence Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of reliability initiatives that drive operational performance and asset availability.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive reliability plans aligned with business objectives
  • Managing budgets and resources related to engineering and maintenance activities
  • Analyzing data to identify recurring equipment issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to improve maintenance and reliability outcomes
  • Coordinating planned maintenance events and shutdowns to minimize downtime
  • Monitoring asset performance using digital tools and systems to optimize efficiency
  • Ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field (Bachelor's Degree)
  • Proven experience in reliability leadership roles (5+ years)
  • Expert knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • A background in complex operational environments (heavy manufacturing or other) is an advantage
  • Previous experience with CMMS software and reliability analysis tools
