Senior Project Manager - Water and Civil Infrastructure

A highly skilled Senior Project Manager is sought to lead the end-to-end delivery of significant water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This client-side consultancy role involves responsibility for the full project lifecycle from planning and procurement through to delivery and commissioning of complex capital works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to completion and handover.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and oversee complex work packages involving multiple stakeholders, high technical risk, or significant capital value.
  • Deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance to delivery partners to ensure project objectives are achieved throughout all phases.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in infrastructure delivery, with 1–2 years in a lead role on a major project.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale water and wastewater capital works (valued between $30m–$70m).
  • Experience working within or alongside government agencies, water utilities, or public sector bodies.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, project governance, and risk frameworks.
  • Ability to manage and influence in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and industry codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
