Delivering high-quality infrastructure projects requires exceptional leadership and management skills.

The Civil Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of their project area, ensuring it meets all design requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.

The role involves driving performance across commercial, HR/IR, safety, quality, environmental, and community engagement targets. The leader must proactively manage risks and capitalize on opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead project delivery to meet design, safety, quality, environmental, time, and cost targets, ensuring compliance with all contractual and commercial requirements
  • Drive a safety culture through regular discussions, incident reviews, and promoting best practices across teams and subcontractors
  • Manage budgets and forecasting with accuracy, ensuring cost control and consistent monthly reporting
  • Engage with the community and stakeholders to provide updates, maintain positive relationships, and ensure smooth project execution
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering high performance, supporting training, and promoting wellness and diversity initiatives
  • Identify and implement efficiencies, sustainability innovations, and continuous improvements while managing subcontract scopes, claims, and design changes effectively

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are essential. A minimum of 12 years of experience managing major infrastructure projects is also required. Strong knowledge of contract management, commercial procedures, and cost control practices is necessary. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be committed to safety excellence and have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
