Project Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Program Management: End-to-end project lifecycle ownership, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Cost & Forecasting: Rigorous budget control, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting to achieve financial objectives.
  • Contracts & Procurement: Effective management of head contracts and subcontractor agreements, commercial risk mitigation, and procurement strategies.
  • Team & Site Coordination: Collaboration with site supervisors and construction teams to optimize site operations and meet program expectations.
  • HSEQ Management: Compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems, including documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engineering Leadership: Mentorship and guidance of a team of project and site engineers, promoting technical excellence and career development.
  • Design & Constructability Review: Interface management with designers and consultants, challenging and influencing design to deliver cost-effective and constructible solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proactive communication and relationship development with clients, authorities, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Project Strategy: Commercial insight and operational decision-making to improve margin, accelerate program delivery, and enhance outcomes.
Requirements for Success
  • 7+ years' experience in delivering civil construction projects locally.
  • Solid technical understanding of civil construction methodologies and sequencing.
  • Strong contract administration skills and experience with cost control and forecasting tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven success in delivering projects on time and within budget under tight constraints.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
