This is an exceptional chance to make a meaningful contribution to the Defence sector in Cairns. As a Store Service Attendant, you will play a vital part in providing support services for all three Defence services (Navy, Army, and Air Force).
Main Responsibilities:- Receive, inspect, and process stores under supervision
- Pack stock and prepare it for dispatch
- Assist customers with kit-related issues
- Inspect and accept returned items
- Perform manual handling using various methods
You will be working in a team environment, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for service and strong attention to detail.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:- Background or experience in the Defence sector highly regarded
- Experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, or customer service
- Valid Driver's Licence and own transport
- Strong computer proficiency
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
- Ability to work effectively in a team and customer-focused environment
Candidates must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance.
