Key Responsibilities- Deliver Support Services: Provide individualised support to people with disabilities and young people, enhancing their daily lives.
- Personal Care and Mobility: Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development, promoting independence.
- Mentorship and Emotional Support: Build meaningful connections, provide mentorship, and emotional support, creating a safe environment.
- Community Participation: Support community participation and recreational activities, promoting social inclusion.
- Collaboration and Advocacy: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implement support plans, and advocate for customer rights.
- Care Environment: Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs.
- Experience: Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services.
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Licenses: Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Credentials: NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
