Joint Venture Manager

The Role:

This is a dynamic leadership position that requires an experienced and skilled Joint Venture Manager to oversee our portfolio of non-operated joint ventures (JVs) in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will establish collaborative relationships internally and externally to deliver win-win outcomes across our JV interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aligning JVs with operational and strategic objectives aligned with JV and internal stakeholders
  • Facilitating sharing of best practices to ensure safe and sustainable operations
  • Building credibility and influence with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Leading internal functional resources to support and align JV decision making
  • Creating, implementing, and executing strategies, management plans, and improvement initiatives to enable JV performance and value creation from mine to conversion

Requirements:

  • Experience in business development, joint ventures, or partnerships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make sound business decisions
  • Experience with mine operations, studies, and development projects

Education / Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Law / Business with experience in and around mining or natural resource operations
  • 15+ years of global resource experience
