Community Partnership Leader

We are seeking a strategic Community Partnership Leader to lead our team for a 3-month maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will have experience in community program delivery, strong leadership skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Lead a team of officers across arts & culture, seniors, volunteers, and partnerships
  • Coordinate initiatives that align with the City's Strategic Community Plan
  • Support the delivery of events from concept to celebration
  • Build relationships with sporting clubs, community groups, and internal teams
  • Manage budgets, oversee grant applications, and ensure compliance
  • Represent the City in professional forums and seek new opportunities for growth
  • Support team development and wellbeing, while fostering a safe and inclusive workplace

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 3 years' experience in community program delivery
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to build a motivated team
  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Recreation, Social Science or similar
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical
