About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Technician to join our team in a fast-paced operating suite environment. As a key member of our perioperative services, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists in preparing for and managing operative procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and sterility protocols, including cleaning and preparing equipment and environments.
- Perform patient transport duties within the facility, ensuring patient safety and dignity.
- Monitor and report any issues with the functionality of equipment, adhering to maintenance protocols.
- Engage actively in ongoing professional development and participate in quality improvement activities within the department.
- Comply with all organisational policies, including health and safety guidelines and risk management frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Completion of Year 12 or equivalent, along with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing education in a relevant field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with operating suite protocols and equipment, previous experience in a healthcare setting highly regarded.
- Professional Abilities: Capable of maintaining high standards of care and adhering to strict protocols in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Attributes: Strong commitment to providing compassionate patient care, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
