About us

We operate a range of surgical services for patients across the country.

Currently, we are seeking an experienced Theatre Technician to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work as a competent and reliable member of the healthcare team under the guidance of nursing, anaesthetic, and surgical staff in delivering patient care.

  1. Assist staff with transporting patients within, to, and from the operating theatre.
  2. Provide assistance with patient procedures as required.
  3. Maintain procedure room/operating theatre equipment ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  4. Offer support to medical and nursing staff.
  5. Promote patient safety at all times.
  6. Assist in other areas within the theatre complex.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  8. Familiarize yourself with the correct operation of all equipment.
  9. Awareness of WH&S guidelines for the safe management of equipment, beds, and patients throughout the hospital.

To be considered for this role, you must have completed a minimum Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Theatre Technician) or equivalent.

You should also hold current BLS certification and possess recent experience as a Theatre Technician (preferable).

Candidates will demonstrate strong evidence of accountability and responsibility for their actions.

You will need to exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, good organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability.
