Delta Community Support is a registered NDIS provider based in Queensland and Victoria. We specialize in Supported Independent Living, Community Access & Participation, and In-home Support.

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Description:

We offer permanent part-time positions for Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, guaranteeing a minimum of 12 hours per week. Our Casual roles for Community Access work offer flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle. You will be required to cover shifts in mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight, both weekdays and Public Holidays. If you have all the mandatory documents required, we can offer an Immediate Start.

About the Role:

Your duties will include accessing community facilities, personal care, assisting clients with grooming, meeting friends, medical appointments, helping with household chores, administering medication, and transporting clients. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate empathy, honesty, flexibility, and the ability to provide warm encouragement. You will be dedicated to improving the lives of both young people and adults, and possess attributes such as being compassionate, empathetic, and detail-oriented, with strong listening and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

  • NDIS Screening Card (must have or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must have or willing to obtain)
  • Blue Card (must have or willing to obtain)
  • A valid Queensland Driver License - minimum P2 Green (must have)
  • Evidence of your Right to Work in Australia (must have)
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance for transporting clients (we offer KM reimbursement)
