About the Role

CPL is seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding high-calibre Disability Support Workers (DSWs) for our support offices within a designated region.

This role involves building strong relationships with Service Managers, understanding their team's specific needs, and implementing effective recruitment strategies to fill vacancies promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with Service Managers within the assigned region.
  • Create and implement tailored recruitment plans for each support office based on identified needs.
  • Utilise various channels to attract suitable DSW candidates, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Screen and select candidates, arrange interviews, and participate in assessment centres.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for successful candidates, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for future recruitment needs.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.

About You

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the disability support sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
