- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized plans.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and promote client safety.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to ensure best practices and share knowledge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, services, and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum).
- Experience working in case work or counselling roles with women, children, and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence.
- Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation.
- Extensive experience working in a trauma-informed, client-centred way.
- Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check.
- Current drivers licence required.
- Models and promotes BaptistCare's vision, purpose, and practices, and leads others aligned with our Shared Values.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations.
- Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management.
