About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Psychologist to join our team at Mind Australia Limited.

This is a full-time opportunity to work in the Bendigo area, providing high-quality counselling services and psychological clinical therapies to individuals, groups, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-informed therapeutic approaches to people accessing the Local with mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs challenges.
  • Diagnose and treat mental health conditions, conduct specialist psychological assessments, and facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, and families.
  • Provide direct clinical treatment to people accessing the service, including short and long-term care.
  • Work collaboratively with the Local team to ensure counselling approaches are aligned with the individual's support plan.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Psychology and previous significant experience in Psychology.
  • Able to obtain registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) through postgraduate studies or relevant years of supervised practice.
  • Demonstrated participation in ongoing professional development to meet required registration standards.
  • Proven experience in Community Services, Mental Health, Disability, Social Welfare, Housing, Healthcare, or Government sectors.
