Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sydney or Brisbane.

Job Description:

Design high-voltage and low-voltage distribution substations, incorporating protection systems and earthing solutions.

  • Perform detailed electrical studies, including short circuit analysis, load flow, protection grading, power factor correction, harmonic analysis, transformer sizing, and arc flash assessments.
  • Develop site electrical distribution systems, covering switchroom layouts, switchboard designs, cable routing, motor starters, UPS systems, generators, and transformers.
  • Deliver compliant electrical designs for hazardous areas, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Engineers Australia accredited).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards it.
  • Strong experience in Electrical engineering, including complex project execution and innovative problem-solving.
  • Skilled in detailed design and capable of reviewing and approving work.
