We are seeking a highly skilled Clean Energy Specialist Support Officer to join our team at The Busy Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting Australian Apprentices entering clean energy occupations.

The primary purpose of this position is to offer end-to-end wrap around support and guidance to apprentices, in line with our B Green specialist Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASS) contract. You will be responsible for understanding the renewables and clean energy sectors and with industry support, marketing these new skills and occupations to apprentices, jobseekers, employers, and other stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for servicing the contract with a hybrid office/field working arrangement, utilizing your own BUSY car. You will have the opportunity to travel throughout the state when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end support and guidance to Australian Apprentices entering clean energy occupations
  • Understand the renewables and clean energy sectors and market new skills and occupations to apprentices, jobseekers, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Servicing the contract with a hybrid office/field working arrangement
  • Travel throughout the state when required

Requirements
  • An understanding of the clean energy sector will be highly regarded. Further training will be provided
  • Familiarity with Australian Apprenticeship programs, including apprenticeship pathways, training providers, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining business relationships with a range of stakeholders, but with a particular focus on Unions, Industry Bodies, and Employers
  • Previous experience in business development, marketing, or promotional activities to achieve KPIs and business targets
  • Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check/Blue Card and National Police Check
