About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to join our team at RACV Hobart Hotel. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all who visit our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes, room assignments, and key card management.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with room maintenance and housekeeping requests, ensuring that all rooms are clean and tidy.
  • Work collaboratively with the hotel team to ensure that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel or resort.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
