Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-level knowledge of the renewable energy sector, major projects, and assessment and approvals requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to progress issues and find solutions, building effective relationships within the department, across government, with industry, and the community.
  • Proven project delivery experience, with the ability to define tasks, coordinate and guide others, and monitor progress against agreed schedules.
  • Influence and drive change to add value to stakeholders, while maintaining their confidence.
  • Develop and maintain highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and foster effective relationships, communicate with influence, negotiate, resolve conflict, and provide and receive constructive feedback.
  • Produce high-quality written documentation to meet various uses for different audiences.
  • Manage a small team, including work allocations, deliverable outcomes, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Desirable Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification with an engineering, law, environmental, or project management/commercial focus would be highly regarded.
  • A current driver's license is required for this role.
