About this role
- We are seeking a skilled ICT Database Administrator to provide reliable and uninterrupted database services for multiple systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing expertise in managing corporate databases.
- Maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on internal testing outcomes.
- Meeting changing work requirements to ensure reliability and ongoing enhancements.
- Upskilling in various database technologies.
- Learning fundamental Oracle, Microsoft, or MongoDB technologies.
Duties for an ASD 5 Database Administrator:
- Mentoring junior DBAs.
- Supporting technical issues requiring investigation and debugging.
- Learning ASD specific requirements for Oracle or MongoDB databases.
Duties for an ASD 6 Database Administrator:
- Providing technical expertise and utilising resources to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Working on scripts written and running on Linux or Windows environments.
- Automating tasks to improve team efficiency.
- Mastery of Oracle or MongoDB specific requirements.
