Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide Level 1 & 2 desktop support, support and develop business applications, and manage vendor relationships.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in technical support, software development, and project management. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance to staff, maintaining network and system availability, resolving ICT incidents, and contributing to ICT strategic goals and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 & 2 desktop support
  • Support and develop business applications
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Develop new applications
  • Engage with the Digital Health Team
  • Perform Business Analyst functions
  • Contribute to ICT strategic goals and projects

Requirements:

  • Recognized industry certifications or relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software development
  • Experience with SQL queries and relational databases
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, VB.NET, Delphi, or Python
  • Understanding of software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of web-based application development tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service commitment
  • Ability to work independently
