The role involves providing Business as Usual (BAU) and project-based support to ensure the availability, performance, security, and integrity of databases used at RCH.

As a Cloud Database Administrator, you will be responsible for proactive monitoring and capacity planning, supporting and maintaining enterprise-level Oracle and SQL Server database environments in cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and maintaining underlying enterprise-level Oracle and SQL Server database environments.
  • Contributing to the delivery of RCH Cybersecurity protections.
  • Administering and supporting Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Creating complex Oracle EBS reports via SSRS.

You will have experience as a database administrator within enterprise-level Oracle and SQL Server database environments for cloud and on-premises environments. You will also have experience with Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS), creating complex Oracle EBS reports via SSRS, and SQL Server 2016 to 2022.

In addition, you will have experience with setting up database clustering, availability groups, and active-passive failover configuration & availability group load balancing. You will also have experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems, SQL Reporting, regular SQL and Oracle patching, designing DR and High Availability environments.
