Job Title: Database Administration Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced database administrator to manage and maintain our databases.

  • Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems.
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by establishing database access controls and backup protocols.
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and archiving.
  • Develop and implement database recovery plans and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and optimize queries.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
