We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Platypus Shoes. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and operational excellence, while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales and Operations: Ensure efficient store operations, achieving optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
- Motivate and Develop Team Members: Coach and mentor team members to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets, while maintaining high team morale and encouraging individual development.
- Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, identifying areas of missed opportunity and implementing strategies to improve performance.
- Manage Wage Costs and Rostering: Effectively manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
- Ensure OH&S Compliance: Ensure efficient OH&S management and adherence to state and national OH&S legislation.
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
- Leadership Skills: A motivated and driven attitude, with a passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
- Operational Excellence: A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets, with experience in operational excellence and stock control.
