We are seeking an experienced GitOps Engineering Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality managed services to customers around the globe.


Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to bring together operations management, software engineering, and product development in a single role. As a GitOps Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team in daily agile devops practices, representing the team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams, and driving internal projects forward.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily agile devops practices to ensure efficient delivery of managed services
  • Represent the team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Drive internal projects forward to achieve business objectives
  • Mentor engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Identify and measure team health indicators to inform strategic decision-making
  • Implement structured engineering and operations processes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Ensure team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables to meet service level agreements

Qualifications
  • Proven experience of software delivery using infrastructure as code
  • Proven experience managing devops teams for SAAS or similar offerings
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems
  • Experience with cloud topologies and technologies

Nice-to-have Skills
  • Experience with Ubuntu system administration
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
