Optimizing Transportation Networks

We are seeking a skilled transport planning specialist to join our team. Our company provides energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive. Our team works collaboratively to make a difference for our customers, local communities, and the world.
This role will involve managing all transport requirements related to customer deliveries, returns, and fleet movement. The successful candidate will create cost-effective and optimized transport plans, manage transport requirements aligned with vendor agreements, maintain detailed transport records for performance analysis, and notify customers of delivery times and additional charges if applicable.
The specialist will also organize inter-company equipment transport, utilizing backloads and consolidated loads, monitor vendor performance, escalate failures when necessary, process purchase orders, invoices, and cost reallocations efficiently, and file relevant documentation accurately.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in transport planning, technical proficiency in Microsoft tools and ERP systems, strong urgency for creative solutions, acute accuracy in work, effective multitasking skills, collaborative interpersonal skills, decisive behavior, and the ability to self-direct and manage.
