We are seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to lead and optimise our vendor network, ensuring exceptional service delivery across the collection, processing, and transport of recyclables.
This role reports to a senior manager based in VIC, and is critical to ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and cost-effectively while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a high-performing vendor network aligned with our pillars of Safety, Service, and Cost
- Analyse and negotiate optimal commercial and service outcomes
- Resolve conflicts and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct site/vendor visits to ensure service quality and compliance
- Drive network optimisation and formalise agreements through contract execution
- Champion safety compliance and environmental standards
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
