Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bids Specialist to join our National Clients and Markets team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Advisory practice, you will play a critical role in the management and development of compelling bids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective bid strategies to secure new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and subject matter experts to capture and articulate solutions to clients
  • Produce high-quality bids that meet the firm's framework and client requirements
  • Obtain feedback on bids through client debriefs and identify areas for improvement
  • Identify potential opportunities and distribute to relevant teams
  • Maintain digital tools and platforms for data capture and storage
  • Develop an understanding of service offerings across the firm
  • Utilize the firm's CRM system for tracking and reporting purposes
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, PR, or journalism
  • Experience producing bids in response to formal procurement requests, ideally in a professional services firm and/or for government and public sector or large corporate targets
  • Excellent business writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to develop rapport at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to coordinate and provide feedback on content provided by subject matter experts, including senior leaders
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including document design, layout, and formatting
  • Visual storytelling skills to enhance the bid
  • Experience complying with brand guidelines (visual and tone of voice)
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes
